Consultation has concluded.

Share your feedback about Milton Transit services, your ideas for shaping the future of Milton Transit, and how you travel throughout Milton and the surrounding municipalities. Your input will be used to influence important policies and plans for Milton Transit.

To build Milton Transit as a viable transportation option, all customers must have access. The commitment to purchase fully accessible transit fleet over the past 12 years is a significant step in this direction. However, overall system accessibility goes beyond accessible transit buses and includes elements such as:

  • Increased service levels
  • Facility access
  • Improved pedestrian connections
  • Bus stop surface pads, shelters and signage
  • Availability of accessible transit information, policies and customer service

Why is Milton doing this Accessibility Plan?

The purpose of this accessibility plan is to identify barriers and establish strategies to address local accessibility issues and any regulatory requirements in 2021. Consistent with requirements under the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR) 191/11, annual public consultation will be conducted to discuss and assess progress toward full system accessibility.

Hi Milton transit team,
I have a few remarks that I want to share with you since I moved to Milton and started taking the bus.
First of all is the use of the presto card which is inexistent. I had to call the customer service to understand the concept I hope that we can use presto card in Milton transit soon.
Second is that Google map doesn't recognize Milton transit so I had to download triplinx app.
Finally is I had to download another app to use as a payment.
I hope that we can improve milton transit by minimizing all the app. One payment using presto and one time and location app.
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts with you .
Best of luck.
